Unfinished hardwood & engineered floors, also refered to as site finished are row planks that have been milled, lighly sanded but not stained. All species of wood floors are available unfinished and come in all widths.
Unfinished hardwood floors are usually desired by customers requesting straight edge floors or those applying a custom border, unique color or a specific gloss level to the floor. Unfinished hardwood floors are now available in solid and engineered and can be nailed to a plywood subfloor or glued directly over a concrete slab.
